Lauren from New York:
For me, understanding the shape of the earth was an eye opening experience to where there is truly zero credibility on earth. It all became tangible, from such a simple yet complex lie. God is truth and so is His word, the Authorized King James Bible. Once I began to understand terms in the bible such as the firmament and the use of directions, I was in awe of how literal the bible is and that we don't need a pastor to interpret it for us (which felt like the sentiment for most of my youth). Regardless of the fact that the shape will not change our eternity, I firmly believe it has changed my understanding of the bible. For the better. And with a renewed excitement of God's creation and His plan and that absolutely nothing else matters. It has been so easy to turn away from the deception and things of this world.
I have zero intention of changing your stance on this topic. I have truly enjoyed your material, which is only supported by scripture. I simply felt motivated to share why this topic was important to me. Thank you for your time and for your God-given mission.
So why did you write this to me in the first place? Why am I supposed to have more than zero concern about how you personally feel about something? You do understand that your letter was nothing more than your sentiments, right? You do understand that your sentiments are meaningless in the face of facts and truth, right? Do you understand that if I seriously concerned myself with how people feel about what I teach, I would have taken down almost all of my teachings by now?
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
-Jer 17:9
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
-Pro 28:26
Yeah, you "
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
-Col 2:8
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
-John 1:1
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
-Mat 15:8
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
-Mat 15:18
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
-Phil 2:2
Have a great day.
You can pass judgment on only what you know (regarding your response with my alleged emotion-based faith). I think that's where I bow out. I do see that you use evidence other than the bible, such as a U.S. map to add to a point, though I'm uncomfortable with sharing non-bible based evidence.
Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
-Isaiah 2:22
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
-Proverbs 2:3-5
No, you can take that back where you found it. That's not an "apology" for anything. That's you trying to make yourself look like a victim for sharing your feelings, and I'm not playing that female game with you.
No, I judge righteous judgment (John 7:24) based on the evidence of your words. There's no alleging anything, you're just in denial at this point because admission would cause you to have to humble yourself to the truth of the Word of God instead of adhering to another god you called "
This is about what you say, and being held accountable for what you say. Jesus holds us accountable for emails too:
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
-Mat 12:36
So what should I conclude? Thus far, you are only showing me the example that I have seen from typical flat-earth cultists: they care nothing for context and understanding of the Word of God, they refuse to reason the matter out, and flat-earth becomes their god.
You've only made it worse because there was glaring hypocrisy in your second letter that was more disastrous than the first:
So you claim to be "
...you made reference to "
I'll make this simple: By sending me these letters and having this conversation, what specifically do you want from me?
If you want me to help you justify your anti-Christ ideology of "emotions-based" so-called "bible study," I cannot and will not do that. However, if there is something else you want that you have not made known yet, let me know and we can talk about it.
You started out saying you had "
Then, you proceeded to finish your letter by making yourself out to be a victim. I rest my case. That feminist attitude, and anti-Christ "emotion-based" so-called "bible study" is not welcome here either. I hope you depart in peace. Have a great day.
