My apologies if this was vague, I didn't even know that it was until you mentioned.
So, first of all,
Is something true, or is it impossible to know anything to be true?
Is something true, or is it impossible to know anything to be true?
Assume that "it is impossible to know anything to be true". The statement "it is impossible to know anything to be true" would be therefore be something we know to be true, and therefore would be self-contradictory.
Therefore there must exist knowledge that can be known.
Absolute Truth exists.{Absolute = true at all times for all people everywhere}
Assume that "there is no absolute truth". The statement "there is no absolute truth" would be an absolute truth, and therefore would be self-contradictory.
Therefore, there must exist absolute truth(s)
Can you prove that logic exists?
No one could prove the nonexistence without using logic.
No one could define the key words in the question (prove, logic, exists) without using logic.
Truth, knowledge, and logic are all necessary to prove anything. You must borrow from the Christian worldview(presuppose it), and the God who makes universal, immaterial, and invariant laws possible in order to prove anything.
What are the consequences you can think of for presupposing the Christian Worldview regardless of what a person claims to believe in?
Also, is the Christian Worldview required for everyone to presuppose? Is it necessary for everyone to presuppose it as part of human existence?
