See the savoury words of blessed Tindal, called  the  apostle  of  England,  in  his  letter  to  John Frith, written Jan. 1533,

I don't understand the purpose of this post.
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Note at the top of the page under "News:" The forum software doesn't like foreign apostrophes, and will sometimes cut off your posts if you use them. This can happen by copy/pasting from other formats, or by using a smartphone. If you are having problems, avoid use of symbols, like apostrophes and quotations, and that should solve the problem.

Expound the law truly, and open the veil of  Moses,  to condemn all flesh and prove all men sinners, and  that all deeds under the law, before mercy has taken away  its condemnation, is sin and  damnable; and then as  a faithful minister, set abroach the mercy of our Lord Jesus, and let the wounded consciences drink of the water of him.  And then your preaching shall be with power, and not as  the hypocrites. And the Spirit of God shall work with you; and all consciences shall  bear record unto you, and feel that it is so. And all doctrine that casts a mist on these two, to shadow and hide them, I mean the law of God, and the mercy of Christ, you resist that doctrine with all your power.

Okay, was there something you wanted to discuss about this? I'm still not quite sure where you're wanting to go here.

Wynand, you need to explain these things. Don't just assume that we know what you're talking about or what's going through your head when you post something. Posting a quote with no explanation gets confusing.

Where was he teaching about repentance? Did I miss it?

Does the term 'wounded conscience' refer to repentance?

Yes the part where he says "damnable conscience". The law convicts us and then the sorrow of offending God.

He did not say "damnable conscience." He said "wounded conscience." A wounded conscience is one who knows he has done wrong (i.e. has guilt), but that's not necessarily indicative of repentance. There are many people who know they are guilty, but refuse to repent. That's my point; it's not clearly spelled out here in any part of the quote, but Wynand said: "I am just showing what Tyndale taught about repentance"

Wynand; this is happening across multiple posts that you're making all over the this forum. I don't know what the problem is, but you need to stop this. You're making claims about posts that don't exist, you're making false statements about Scripture, and most of what you write is vague. Please stop what you're doing. (I don't believe you have any problem speaking the English language, as I could tell from the introduction thread, so I know that isn't the issue.)

You stated in a response to your post in your introductory thread:
"To be honest I begged the Lord Jesus to help me use my tongue for truth and edification."
Well, so far, you're not doing that. So far, I see you denying the truth to lean on your own understanding, and you are not "building up" (i.e. edifying) anyone in the church by just making short-hand posts that, often, don't make much sense.
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
