I wouldn't be offended by what Dee said. It's not for us to work out your salvation.
Philippians 2:12 KJV
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Dee can't know one way or the other about your salvation. She was afraid that she was not charitable towards you by affirming your salvation. She is not questioning your salvation or belief, but is convicted in the case you don't have salvation.
I would not affirm someone's salvation so quickly. We ought not call everyone brother and sister.
This is not condemnation towards you or others, but it is how we should live charitably.
I would hope that you or Dee would do the same to me and for me out of love.
