respect (v): to show regard or consideration for
This forum is private property; meaning that, although it does not have a physical location (i.e. it's all digital information), it is privately owned and the server on which it operates is paid for. In short, this forum should be treated like someone's home, meaning that your words and actions here should be reflective of how you would speak and act if you were a guest at a friend's house.
Examples of disrespect are (but not limited to) railing insults, breaking forum rules, lying, deception, false accusations, murmurings, cussing, etc. Certainly, we will give mercy to those who repent (i.e. have grief and sorrow) of doing such things (Luke 17:3), just as our Lord Jesus Christ did for us who are born again, but those who consistently act in such a way without repentance are subject to moderator discipline because, even though this is a forum open to the public, it is not public property, meaning that this place is subject to rules of the private property owners.
Let's be kind to one another, even when we are in disagreement, and enjoy discussion.
