Would have thought it would have been somewhat obvious when his "religious advisor" was revealed in 2016 as Paula White. Yes, another one of those "prosperity gospel" con artists.

I agree that Trump was the better pick than Hilary in 2016, but I seriously doubt anyone who is saved would get into politics at this point in time without an absolute miracle from God...a passage from James 2:5 came to mind:

"Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?"

You're almost guaranteed to find more people saved living on the streets than living in luxury, or at the very least they'd be more open to receiving the gospel.

Mathew 19:24 comes to my mind when it came to trump

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God

and Mark 10:24

And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
