It's very hard for a pastor who is still getting his paycheque from a church building full of people who love and respect him to come to repentance, and he most likely got his ideas about the Holy Spirit from whatever Bible/cemetery college he went to.
It's not impossible, though, as I believe Charles is the one here who is a former pastor himself. He's living proof that a pastor can, by the grace of God, come to a knowledge of the truth. I'd like to hear more of how that happened sometime.
However, Jesus said:
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Caleb's dad obviously still has a pride issue though, too, since he refuses to even consider the possibility that he might be wrong.
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
