More Encouragement to Avoid "Holy Days"

Deuteronomy 12:30-32 makes it very clear not to worship God the way that pagans worship their gods.  Worship Him how He commands and add NOTHING to it.  There are plenty of ways to worship God given in the bible that we can do and do not do enough of.  We don't need to help God with new ways to worship that we find from the world.

30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

If you are honest with yourself, you would say that by reading your bible you would never learn to put up a tree and adorn it to worship God for the birth of Jesus.  You did not learn this from Jesus, but you learned it from the world.

You would never come to the conclusion that you need to hide eggs to worship Jesus for his death, burial, and resurrection by the following the command of God.
