The Wynand guy you banned, he understands this chapter, you don't. 2 Thessalonians 2:6 is about Jesus. 2:7 is about the antichrist. To say the antichrist is the Holy Spirit is complete blasphemy. If you don't see what Paul was making clear in this chapter then I highly advise you simply say you are unsure of who "the restrainer" is.

Thanks for the reply. I had posted yesterday, out of frustration, that I would not post again on this site but after seeing further posts made about me, I felt the need to come back here and inject a few things, hopefully to help others, especially Jeanne and Chris.

Unfortunately, I can't see how this group would help my witness much. Chris makes good claims about true repentance which I wholeheartedly agree is what's lacking in most Christian churches. But after a short, involvement here, I don't think the fruit of this ministry is very healthy. I don't know if Chris has any children, I suspect not as he seems to stand hardcore on some points of perfection that are extreme. I don't know what the issue is but it's something strange.

I originally posted Chris's article on Easter to my Facebook page and I agreed with his article fully. But after my involvement here on this site, I'm taking it off my FB page which is unfortunate but necessary.

Chris seems to call out others for pride issues but doesn't realize when he points at others regarding pride, he's actually pointing 3 fingers at himself.

If you are interested in a healthy ministry, I'd highly recommend Brother Sam Adams @ Independence Baptist Church, he's on Youtube and all around a humble and healthy Pastor.

Pope Francis will retire this year, the next Pope will be this false prophet, aka the black pope. This Popes name will include the number 666.

We'll wait to see if that's true. If it's true, okay, we'll move on from there. However, if that's not true, then you'll be branded a false prophet, and called to repentance of your wickedness.

I already don't believe you because, just as Joop correctly pointed out, you've given nothing Scriptural to back up that claim, and you aren't even defining your terms (i.e. the Bible does not use the phrase "black pope" anywhere). I am always cautious of people who come in here and straightaway jump into end-times conspiracies, using unbiblical terminology, which is what you did from the first post you made (i.e. you created a poll in your very first post to gather information on everyone's opinion about Revelation), which now I regret deleting for you (via your request) since that would be further evidence for me to back up my point. The first seal is already opened Chris. I'll leave your group, I thought I could help you. It seems not.

The bottom line is that the more you post, the more cautious I'm becoming of you, and apparently, others here are starting to do the same. We are not a "conspiracy ministry," where we hash out theories and call it a "bible study." We stick strictly to the doctrines of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you're dealing with a group of people who have some folks with a great amount of discernment, meaning that we are also extremely careful in regards to this matter, and the more you speak, the more we'll be able to see the truth of your heart.

Mike, we've told you before about the problem this forum software has with apostrophes. If you want to paste something here, you have to go back and manually replace all apostrophes in the post box before you hit the post button.

Now you yourself said that you've only been truly saved for about 2 years now and you're going to come in here and try to tell us that you know everything about what the Bible says about end times? You're teaching things that have NO Scriptural basis and claiming knowledge that no one else seems to have. I don't know where you got all this stuff you're spouting but if you keep it up, you're going to find yourself on the banned list, too.

If anyone hasn't told you, I will. I don't know if this is your normal routine but you've got a bad habit of putting words in my mouth, so to speak. And you have a called me a liar on another post.
I forgive you if that helps you, truly I do. I came here to be able to witness better. I do know some things and I like to share what I know. Sorry if these truths offend you. I'll stop posting on your site, I didn't come here to cause anger and division. I can listen to Chris's youtube videos just the same.
I'll leave you with this truth- The first seal (Revelation 6), its already been opened, I can see it clear as day. The second seal, it will be opened soon enough. the 70th week will begin when DJT confirms the covenant with many, this is his "deal of the century" he's worked on almost 40 years.
You don't want to believe he's the antichrist, I get that, I didn't either, especially considering I voted for him. I'm somewhat amazed that I can see these things so easily but others, well, can't. trump matches every single biblical description of the beast. He's Assyrian and Roman. trump's "the restrainer"

I am living in Australia now, but I was born and raised in Michigan and lived in Texas before moving here eleven years ago. I also served 8 years in the US Air Force. However, I did not know that about the history of DC.

BUT, don't forget that the Jews, along with many others who are not saved are going to see the antichrist as the Messiah. Somehow, I don't see the US president being the uniting force to bring in the one world government and one world religion (with himself as god). The popes have ALWAYS considered themselves to be at least equal, if not superior, to God. The Jews, they already see him as messiah. Did you notice what happened last week on Purim?

Look at Daniel's fourth beast again:

Daniel 7:19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; 20 and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

The US is definitely wicked but it hasn't been around long enough or done enough damage to the world yet to warrant the type of wrath that will be poured out on the Babylon of Revelation. Not when you compare it to the 'war against the saints' the RCC has waged against true Christianity from the very beginning. From the Inquisitions to the Crusades, even going so far as banning Bibles and sentencing people to death for possessing one. 800 military bases in about 150 countries, you should know that being a vet. Make no mistake, the RCC has always been demonically evil. If you haven't read Foxs Book of Martyrs, I high suggest doing so. It's important to understand what's soon to come to pass.

Since living overseas, I have come to see the exaggerated sense of self-importance most Americans have with regard to the rest of the world, even to the point of trying to place themselves into Scripture. I'm not trying, it's not up to me or you.

Back to the one-world religion: don't you see how the ecumenical movement has been trying to bring the major world religions together under the umbrella of the Catholic Church? Did you see the video of Kenneth Copeland agreeing with and yoking together with the pope? Many other churches are doing the same. I see it! It makes me weep almost everyday. It's everywhere. The protest is over.

I see you posted again while I was writing this. Yes, I know about Benghazi and the coverup behind it. That still doesn't warrant the US being Babylon and Obama is out of office now and no longer POTUS. He's definitely working FOR the antichrist, but he ain't him. Obama is certainly an antichrist but according to the Bible he cannot be the final antichrist. Obama was the Hegelian Dialectic, we've all been played.

I would be interested though in seeing the proof that Donald Trump's name is an indication that he is the antichrist.  If the name doesn't match the 666 then he definitely can't be.

There is no connection between Donald Trump and the number 666. So to claim that Trump is THE antichrist is not very wise, so to speak.

When I tell others about it, they think I'm crazy. It involved the CIA, the Secretary of State, the POTUS and Benghazi. But that's all I really care to say about that.

You are teaching all kinds of conspiracies without giving any proof. That's not very helpful.
I myself like reading and studying the Book of Revelation, however, I am very careful how to interpret this book. I think you have to be more careful, Mat!

You are mixing up the second beast with the first beast. Read the whole chapter 13 and you'll see the (2) distinctly different beasts. The beast from the sea is the antichrist. The beast from the earth is the false prophet. Although the beasts combine it their efforts they have different roles. The beast from the sea is from Babylon (Revelation 18). the beast from the earth is from Mystery Babylon (Revelation 17). Pope Francis will retire this year, the next Pope will be this false prophet, aka the black pope. This Popes name will include the number 666.

But don't discount DJT's ties to 666, he has many.

I see you are from the land down under so perhaps its more difficult for you to see but the USA is, without any doubt, Babylon (Revelation 18), the final worldly kingdom. Are you unaware that Washington D.C.'s original name was Rome, Maryland, and a branch of the Potomac River was called Tiber Creek, which was named after the Tiber river in Rome? Like Rome, Washington D.C. has 7 hills, whose names are: Capitol Hill, Meridian Hill, Floral Hills, Forest Hills, Hillbrook, Hillcrest, and Knox Hill. Do you know who used to own the property that the Capital sits upon in DC? He was the richest citizen of the US at the time he donated this property to our government.

I want to help you. I want help everyone. I want to serve my Lord and Savior. I see within this CLE, that using scripture to help others is all that's needed as we all know the truth of the Bible. I want to learn, in a very short period of time, who to do this while honoring Him, King Jesus. I need a minute to pray and think about how to help you here.

You do have your priorities in the correct order, Amen that. But your comment- "the end doesn't really matter one way or the other", I'd have to dispute  this statement a tad. Approximately 25 % of the Bible is written addressing "the end" so it's fair to say that God wants us to understand the times we are in, yes?

I've found that the current events intrigue those that have never considered the Truth of the Bible. I believe God wanted us to fully understand how the story ends so we can explain the crazy events to those that begin to search for answers as these times unfold. This year alone, I've witnessed Gods truth to many who have come, via repentance, to whole heartedly accept the blood on the cross as remissions for their evil hearted sins and thus have been born again. What a beautiful way to serve our Lord, yes?

"I am wondering what opened your eyes to Gods truth? How did you come to repentance in the jungle of lies?"
I accepted Jesus as my Savior at age 13 while at Christian camp, the easy believism way. Went about my merry way, in the Word here and there. Church with family and friends now and then. I attended college at the College of Santa Fe in NM. It was a private Catholic college my parents thought was a good fit for me as I had become pretty wild in my late teens. I became crazy wild at this college. I met my first wife at this college, she was kinda catholic. I had to convert to get married in the catholic church which was the only requirement her family cared about, I didn't care either way at the time. after 14 years of a really bad marriage we divorced. I attempted to rededicate my life to Jesus in the only manner I knew of, the sinners prayer. I attended a nice, big, high-end church and began bible studies and such to get involved with what I thought was a healthy church. I thought I was back on track with Jesus.
I got remarried to a lady i fell in love with 13 years ago. I had a big, successful business, big house, cars, boats, etc. everything was awesome, so I thought. But I felt empty inside, I wasn't sure I was actually saved and had many doubts about my faith. Then some things happened to us that were just simply bizarre and involved the White House and CIA. In a matter of just a few short years, my life was spinning out of control. I wondered how come my Father had seemingly abandoned me. 2 years ago, I had to really ask myself If I was really saved and realized I wasn't. I dove into the Bible like never before and realized many of the things I had been taught were totally incorrect. Pretrib rapture, dispensationalism, easy believeism, etc., all wrong! I came across a few, healthy Biblical men. they confirmed the truth of the KJV with me and showed me how wrong pretrib/ dispensationalism is. I had to then understand how all these heresies came to be and realized how much the RCC has influenced me, my family and the so called Christian churches in America. So after all this I had to know how I could be sure I was really saved and thus the Lord showed me that I had never truly repented. That was key for me, true repentance (sorrows) for being an evil sinner. In essence I was brought to my knees. P.S. My wife is from Latvia and has many friends living in Norway and the Netherlands.

That's a very humble reply and although I agree that your understanding comes via the Holy Spirit, you are blessed to be able to explain things in a genuine , loving, caring, simple way that I'm challenged to do. Yes, studying the Word in depth allows for a large part of this, no doubt and that's probably what I'm lacking as it take dedication and some time. But time is running out, quickly. I'm frustrated that I've got to still work a job full time which greatly interferes with the time I have to study God's Word.

In regards to my Mom and family, yes, it's an uphill battle to get them to look at the reality of things. Take the KJV for example, they are completely close minded to the fact the Westcott & Hort Alexandrians could actually be corrupted to the level they are. They won't consider the proof I present. Nope. I keep praying for them and I trust the Lord with what they need to wake up. It's hard for me to think about where they stand on a salvation level.

I love animals too. I was raised on a horse ranch and then later in life had my own ranch. Years ago, I used to hunt but stopped about 20 years ago because I love animals too much and no longer wanted to kill them.

I do understand the deception within the so called "Christian" churches today from the inside out. The great falling away ( 2 Thessalonians 2) is sadly peaking as we speak.

I pushed the wrong button again, smh. I don't get along with computers. I only have a PC at my office. I tried to post on my iphone last night from home but I couldn't seem to figure out how to navigate.

I really want to learn how to explain things the way Chris does. I want to study the Bible with this group.

I really enjoyed the lessons I listened to last night, Billy Graham p.1 & Repentance p.1.
I've know Billy was a wolf once I was truly saved (2 years ago), Chris is right, he was easy to see through. My Mom thinks Billy hung the moon but then again she also thinks Hal Lindsey and Rick Warren are true men of God. I really need to help her and my Sisters. My whole family for that matter.
