Title: Faraday pouch
Post by: Kenneth Winslow on November 08, 2020, 03:47:52 PM
Does anyone have a key fob for keyless entry and push button starting for your vehicle?
In case no one has informed you yet it is very easy for professional thieves to steal those kind of vehicles.
A simple and inexpensive Faraday pouch can prevent your car from being stolen.
If you do not have one already I highly recommend that you get one for all of your key fobs soon.

Here is a good demonstration and testimony from a man who thought that his new pickup truck was safe.

Good share, Kenneth! I watched the video, which was very informative and ordered a two pack of the pouches. I had no idea this could happen.

Faraday cages are relatively simple to make. The outside is a conductive surface (metal) and the inside is nonconductive (wood, cardboard, etc.). You can make one out of a paper envelope or cardboard box wrapped in aluminum foil.

Faraday pouches are also effective for blocking any transmission and reception of a smart phone, laptop or other devices that might be tracked.
