Is there any Bible verse regarding slothfulness
« on: April 11, 2019, 05:52:22 AM »
Is there any Bible verse that condemns slothfulness or says it to be a sin outright?(Aside from the one about the sluggard and the ant, to learn its ways and be wise)

Nathaniel, have you done any research on your own before coming here and posting all these questions? That in itself seems rather lazy to me.

How many of the articles on the CLE website have you read? There are some that address the questions you're asking.

Yes Ms. Jeanne, I have. However, I may be forgetful at times and sometimes I am unsure of things, such as what constitutes slothfulness for now.

Honestly, I've read maybe all the articles written by Mr Johnson and maybe I know all of them like the back of my hand. Maybe what's the real matter I want to ask is "What according to the Bible is slothfulness defined as, and if so, is is condemned as simply being unwise, or as a sin?"

, Then why all these questions?  They are answered in the books and articles and you should be able to find the answers.

Though they might be answered in the teachings, are you expecting Nathaniel to remember every detail of them, and are unwilling to help him a bit if you have understanding?
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

True, and yes, I guess I am willing.

Nathaniel, please forgive me.  I am just having a hard time understanding your questions and I should not be rude to you.

Thank you Chris for correcting me.
