Hi my name is Wynand L. Oberholzer I am from Pretoria South Africa. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, living a sinless life, dying in place for my sins and rising the 3rd day from the grave ascending to heaven sitting on the right hand of God the Father. I really cant remember how I got to this site. I only believe in the KJV Bible in english and the 1933 Afrikaans Bible which is my mother tongue. I loved listening to heavy metal music and rock, and playing playstation and so forth but about 5 years back I went on a website where I saw KJV verses quoted and it changed my life. I thank the Lord Jesus for that. Love reading books like The Two Babylons and books exposing the new age movement. Thanks for this website. No when the Word of God convicted me all the albums went into the bin. My nkjv amplified went to the bin. Reading God's Word and studying it is much better then that. I was a heavy led zeppelin fan.

Dont worry everyone makes mistakes. I made a lot in my life. But I thank Jesus for saving a sinner like me. His grace is endless. Led zeppelin is full of magic and witchcraft. Wicked. They followed aleister crowley especially the guitarist jimmy page. He bought his boleskin house.

About 5 years back. But my father gave me a bible when I was 8. I did believe in Jesus but you know hollywood and music is dangerous so I became backslidden. But about 5 years back I went on a website to check lady gaga out because she was wearing meat around her neck. And so I found out about led zeppelin and their witchcraft and that hit me between the eyes. So on this website I saw her being exposed and led zeppelin and founding out about the KJV bible. And just like that without even giving a second thought I went and bought a KJV bible and threw away my music cd's and harry potter dvd's. By the grace of Jesus Christ I am saved.

Hi Wynand,

I have a question about your testimony... did you experience "the grief and godly sorrow and Repentance"?

It's been on my mind that you didn't really mention this in your testimony.

And I ask this because when I welcomed you, I said I was glad you were saved.
And I am feeling concern, because if you haven't really come to repentance, I don't want to falsely give you the idea that you can be saved without having come to a true Repentance.

We can't be saved by our works (by giving up the music and using the KJV Bible, and by just believing in Jesus)
If you haven't yet come to Repentance, there is a wonderful article that Christopher has written on Repentance.

Just want to be sure.

Welcome to the forum. I am new here also. Hopefully we can edify each other.

I wouldn't be offended by what Dee said. It's not for us to work out your salvation.

Philippians 2:12 KJV
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Dee can't know one way or the other about your salvation. She was afraid that she was not charitable towards you by affirming your salvation. She is not questioning your salvation or belief, but is convicted in the case you don't have salvation.

I would not affirm someone's salvation so quickly. We ought not call everyone brother and sister.

This is not condemnation towards you or others, but it is how we should live charitably.

I would hope that you or Dee would do the same to me and for me out of love.

Sorry but I did not attack her or have a problem with her questioning my salvation. Like I said I am a sinner and only Jesus can and will save me. If you do not call me brother that is between you and Christ friend. If you want to keep questioning my salvation that is between you and the Lord. I also do not know if everyone on this forum is saved. That is also a case between them and the Lord. Enjoy your day.
