Evangelism / Re: Please pray for Andrew
« on: October 22, 2020, 02:03:00 PM »
I thought the same thing when Andrew was talking about his dream and that scripture that says a wicked generation seeketh a sign. I wasn't disregarding the fact that maybe the dream was from God but some folks can get so hung up on the dream that they forget what is really important. I kept thinking about Joseph and how the dreams he received was for future events that was going to save the people from the famine. Then I also thought about Daniel telling King Nebuchadnezzar the meaning of a dream that if the King didn't acknowledge and realized God is who gave him his position as King and prospered him that he was going to humble him. The dreams were all events that needed to be spoke of because there was nobody and no one who could know what was to happen. The dreams Andrew had are not a secret. Yes we are in the End Times. We have the Book of Revelation to tell us so, we do not need someone to tell us that, even unbelievers can see we are in the End Times and they do not even understand the Things from the Spirit. So, I dont know, it seemed like he was really pressing on the dream issue with quite a big smile, that he was more sure of his dreams than he was about the fact that there may or may not be a Hell and His "feelings" Maybe I am just rambling but these were the things going through my mind while watching this. I do have to be honest, This is the first video I have watched of Kenneths Street preaching and I will be watching more. Another thing I was noticing was it was like he thought that Repentance was something of our own doing. He was thinking that He would be granting them repentance and that he can choose to have repentance. I am not trying to sound negative at all, it was just what was coming to my mind while he was talking. I did notice that he was very close to Truth, Praying for Andrew to humble himself before God and that the Holy Spirit would guide him and draw him to the Truth and that he would have true repentance for his Sins and that he would always put his Faith in Jesus Christ. I hope you get to seem him again Kenneth. Also, I do hope the Holy Spirit reveals to him the true meaning of the pagan cross symbol. It seems as though he is on the right track but Catholicism is trying lead him astray.

Correct me anywhere please if my post doesn't seem to have Biblical backing. Or I am incorrect in anything that was typed.

When I first saw Andrew standing there just listening to you at first, I was just waiting for him to say something, but then he left, and then came right back. That made me smile, and even though the things he was saying were off, it was like he was beginning to start a foundation on the whole truth, I am so glad he was able to speak with you and get some clarification on some things. It seemed he was going to read the book you gave him. He really seemed to be looking for Truth. You can tell he knew the word and I hope he gets rid of that NASB and gets himself a KJB. It was so encouraging to see the Holy Spirit at work through you. Praying for Andrew. Praying for you Ken.

I used to listen to Joyce Meyers a lot. I look back and think.. Wow.. I truly was lost and oblivious to that woman's corript doctrine that is leading thousands to hell. I didn't know of Anderson until joining the forum. I am glad your eyes was opened to the deception. Im thankful my eyes was opened as well

General Discussion / Watching Steven Anderson Wolves in Costume
« on: October 19, 2020, 05:32:54 PM »
I just started watching the Wolves in Costume on Steven Anderson and I am only on video 3. And I am so broken for how lost he is. I also really liked the Repentance video I watched few months back, but I especially like how it is taught in more depth through the Steven exposing study and his false belief that repent means to turn. I do have to say..... I am praying for this man, and my heart is breaking for how lost and prideful this man is and all the people he is knowingly leading astray just because of his pride. Just wanted to share. Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did. And if you haven't seen the videos of Steven yet, first watch the video of repentance then watch the Steven Anderson videos. It has helped me immensely.

Praying for this man and the homosexuals he hates so much. Praying they come to true repentance and God opens their eyes

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hello from a redeemed sinner!
« on: October 13, 2020, 07:20:29 PM »

Melanie,
I am in agreeance with Ellie. But just one addition to the comment.
The words of Jesus himself when he was hanging on the cross and dieing for all mankind and even those who treated him mockingly and horrible and with disgust,(even for the rapists, murderers, adulterers and abusers etc...) He was dieing for them and their sins that they might be saved and the words he asked of His Father in heaven was ,"Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." He asked God His Father to extend forgiveness to them just like he does even now while he is at the right hand of God the Father  making intercession for us. God is long suffering with his people. You could ask God to be with the "pastor" and that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction to him for his error in the word and ask that God would save his soul because Jesus died for all.

But if that man came up to you personally and said ,"you need to forgive me" when he didn't truly have sorrow for his wrong doing. You would probably need to ask , "have you repented of your sins?" If he shows that he has NOT, then you would not need to say, " I forgive you" because if you said you forgave him.. It would make him think that he is extended grace with a proud and unrepentant heart. It will make him think he is justified to continue in his sin and continue to do wrong. James 4:6 says that God resisteth the proud but gives grace to the humble." Now if this man or any trespasser comes to you and is humbled in repentance for the wrong against you and asks for your forgiveness then you graciously extend him forgiveness.

(I know this is a quite a bit of scripture below and the scripture I am referring to is at the end but think it wise to read all that is around the scripture that is referenced.)

Matthew 18:15-22
King James Version
15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

If there is repentance. Extend forgiveness. If there isn't ask God to convict them to repentance for their wrong. We do not want anyone to perish. Praying for the unrepentant will help us to see them through God's eyes and it helps us to not become bitter. When you have more trespasses in the future (because you will) ask God to help Prepare you now for those moments. Ask him to help you to have compassion toward those who hurt you. And to not have hate in your heart or resentment toward them. Because this is murder in your heart toward them.

Matthew 5:43-44
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you

I hope this helps. And if anything was said that doesn't line up with scripture. Please correct my error

General Discussion / Re: The worst "Christian song" ever made.
« on: October 10, 2020, 11:50:00 PM »
Before I was saved I used to sing this song and now that my eyes have been opened, This song is totally unbiblical. The verse that says " I've gone through the motions, I've been back and forth" That right there proves she is fake. We as believers do not go through the motions, only unbelievers (false converts) do.
This song as a whole is a lie from Satan. I know she is talking to "fear" like it is a person but my question is "fear of what?" Like this song all the sudden makes no sense to me. She has nothing to fear if she has Christ.
I understand this may be referring to the fear of man but why would you give any place for Satan with a song.

Ephesians 4:27-30
Neither give place to the devil.
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Psalms 33:8 - Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

This was my take on the lyrics and I am sure there is a lot more wrong with it but this is what stuck out to me.

Bible Discussion / Re: Observer of Times
« on: October 10, 2020, 01:40:16 AM »
As for Galatians 4, I think that this is referring to Keeping the Sabbaths and Holy Days and how they were grievous to man to observe, but after Christ came and died and rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven and is now at the right Hand of the Father interceding on our behalf, then the Holy Spirit came down as Jesus promised and,That Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin and then God leads us to repentance by opening our eyes to our wickedness,  then when you come to repentance and God gives you the forgiveness of your sins if you come humbly with a contrite heart, then you'll recieve the Spirit of God written on your hearts and you are born again and are no longer in bondage by these days, months and years. We have Christ. It's not that those things are done away with but fulfilled in Him. To me, everyday is the Sabbath, every day is a Holy Day. I observe Christ in all things, and Christ lives in me an I in him.

Galatians 4:9-11
But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Please correct me if I said anything that doesn't line up with scripture. I do not want to teach anything against God.

Bible Discussion / Re: Observer of Times
« on: October 10, 2020, 01:05:57 AM »
I think that Observer of times is referring to those who observe future events by looking to the stars, sun and moon. The way of other Nations (Egyptians being one of them) It's like todays psychics and fortune tellers. Those who read zodiac signs. It is mixed in with divination and witches. It is a serious offense to God, so much so, that if someone noticed someone practicing such things, then they was to bring the matter to the Priests and would have to be 2-3 witnesses and if that person was found guilty then the 2-3 witnesses would be the first to throw the stones at them, then the others would throw them at them as well until the wicked people died. The Nation that the Israelites left was Egypt and the Egyptians practiced these things religiously and God did not want His children doing these abominations in the Land that he was giving them. They was getting ready to come into the Land that God gave them and didn't want any corruptness to enter in to it. He just delivered them out of all that.

Deuteronomy 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

Deuteronomy 18:14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

The next verse talks about God raising up a prophet.
You know how people are today, they always want to know the future and know what is going to happen so they can be "ready"
They are fearful of death because they are fearful of hell and should be because that is where they are headed but they want to read all these false prophetic things to ease and comfort them from the fear of hell so they turn to witches, wizards, charmers, diviners because they bring comfort to them and deceive them into thinking that they know what the "future" holds for them and people pay a lot of money to know their future. So I think the observer of times is people who look to the stars to foretell the future.

Deuteronomy 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

Observer of times is the satan version of Prophet. So I think it means False Prophet

If I am wrong in anything please correct me but this is what I understood of your question about an "observer of times"

Kenneth,
I watched the youtube link you posted and I think it is sad that a place where young minds go to supposedly learn about Jesus is in support of lyrics like those. I had no idea that Michael w Smith was a supporter of all these things. I have a lot to learn.

 :o

This woman is off her rocker! I wonder how many people in that crowd are actually listening and believing what she is saying?
She has no idea what she is talking about and she is trying to bring God down to her level.

Isaiah 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

When she starts to cry when she was referring to God as The Blue Genie, a scripture came to mind:

2 Corinthians 11:14
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Her father is without a doubt , Satan!
If nobody caught anything she said, one thing would be the biggest red flag for anyone and that is when she said, "This is Nowhere in the Bible"
RED FLAG
There is so many things I could say about this video and I honestly can't imagine how painful it was to watch her video over and over again because just this small video of her made me frustrated and nauseous.

Thank you for making this expose on her, though, because people need to know.

I used to listen to a lot of Bethel music before I was saved by Jesus Christ.  I am so glad that God opened my eyes and ears.

71
I had never heard of Rocketown until today. The most messed up philosophy is just what they have. "All are welcome, and we use anything to reach different types of people." That is the problem, people are creating all these roads to heaven and forgetting there is only one way and that is through Jesus Christ. I used to think the same way as the women in the video, sadly. I used to think that we can use whatever we need to, to reach the Lost, but ever since God opened my eyes and ears to His Truth, I now know that this type of philosophy is straight from Satan and it is what keeps people in the mind set that they are saved when really, they are headed to hell. These are the ones that are hard to tell the truth to because they already think they are christians. Thank you for sharing

72
While I watched this I kept thinking these guys are overtaken by demons and calling them the Holy Spirit. Men are praising men and themselves. These men definitely know nothing of God or His Word. Everything they say is a lie from Satan. Jesus never once acted in this way. This is just so sad and it makes me sick to my stomach. Thank you for exposing them. I never really even knew who these people were until it was brought to my attention. Now if I hear anyone speak of these men with any respect for their "ministry" I will be able to correct them and expose them for who they are really are.... and that is Heretics and workers of iniquity/lies!

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hello from a redeemed sinner!
« on: October 08, 2020, 12:06:40 PM »
Hello Melanie
When I read your intro I noticed at the very end you seemed to have repentance but honestly at first I didn't catch what Timothy and Chris caught in your intro. I am a new christian and learning to exercise discernment between those who are true and those who are blind. As I was reading Timothy and Chris' comments, I then realized just how much I have to learn. It made me realize that there was some concerns as well but knew it was best for me to stay silent in this moment. So I watched from the sidelines along with Kevin (anvilhauler) and have to say, I caught myself holding my breath and standing still and praying for God to help you see. Then waited to see what would happen next. Then when I seen your comment back with realizing why Tim and Chris said what they said, I had relief and I am so glad you are here. Hope you learn more and more in Gods word and in fellowship with True Believers in Christ and continue to have a heart after God.
I hope you can find a good deal on a lap top. I used to use my smart phone and it was difficult but then found out that I could hot spot from my phone for my lap top and now I am so relieved that I can have a bigger screen and I am able to type better.
May we learn the Truth together with humbleness and repentance and that we would have the courage to speak the truth with humbleness and boldness to those who speak falsely.

Scriptures that have come across my mind while writing to you:

Matthew 10:16
King James Version
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

2 Timothy 2:15
King James Version
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Stay safe out there on the roads and watch out for those crazy drivers

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hello everyone!
« on: October 03, 2020, 04:24:30 PM »
Hello Andrew
I enjoyed reading your story. I also enjoyed all the comments and scriptures of the folks on here. I was once someone who used to listen to Hillsong, Bethel, Elevation Worship and a lot of other corrupt "christian" bands. I am still trying to find good music and Hymnals seem to be the only thing that lines up with sound doctrine but even hymnals need to be sifted through with the word as well. I am looking for good biblically sound music with those who support Truth, so if you or anyone else has some suggestions, that would be good.

I am new to this forum as well. And so far I have learned more here in the month or so since I found this webpage than I have in any church I have been to since a child. It has encouraged me to get more into Gods word. I thought I was saved at the age of 13 and come to find out I never had godly sorrow of my wrongs that I committed against God. It was like I was worldly sorrowful and thought that was repentance, but I watched CLE video on Repentance and I began to bawl right there on my couch and it was a cry like I never had for what the way I was breaking Gods heart and it doesn't just stop there. Repentance seems to be every day! And I am totally okay with that.

I was a little shocked to hear some of the things you was saying about Hillsong because I didn't know of what happened behind the scenes and before I ever discovered CLE, I found some youtube videos exposing the wickedness of most of the mainstream "christian" music. I wouldn't recommend this Preacher because I believe he is still leaven, but his certain videos did expose the new age "christian" music.

This is a link to his youtube page.

https://www.youtube.com/user/spencersmith312

I do not believe everything he teaches but as far as his study on the "christian music" it seems to be legit. I could be wrong and If I am, please somebody correct me because I do not want to lead anyone astray.

I am so glad that you found CLE and most importantly I am so glad you repented of your sins and can now have the Spirit guide you so you wont be fooled by every wind of doctrine. The Holy Spirit is our guide and teacher/discerner of Gods Word. It still amazes me that Jesus died for me and That God is long-suffering with us so that we could come to the Truth. Some people believe that Gods law is grievous and bondage but I say there is Liberty! Jesus Christ has set me free and I will never forget that day that I came to repentance and also all the memories of seeing how HE was working in my life to bring me to HIM.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

Hi there madonnajean. Thank you for introducing yourself. I do hope to find a midwife if that becomes necessary. I have 2 boys now. Jacob 12 and Seth 10. We do want more but only if God wills it for us. I have had 2 hospital births and they were ok but now that I look back after coming to the knowledge of the problems with hospitals .. It was sort of traumatic. Epidurals. Pain medication. The vaccinations. The push for formula. They use fear to push their wicked agenda. I have had repentance over the damage I may have brought upon my children. Of course I was ignorant of this wicked agenda of theirs but it still broke me after I listened to the facts on VACCINATIONS.  Who knows what those things did to my children. By the grace of God they turned out to be ok so far. Praying The a healthy diet helps them to grow smart and strong. I am so glad we decided to homeschool. They both was in public school. But even as a lost person I knew the junk they was teaching had to be eradicated. Now I am learning something new everyday alongside our boys.

Timothy I was thinking of Ellie joining as well. Her coming to Christ paralled with me so much. She and I are both new to this and it's nice to have someone new along with me so that we could learn together.

I am glad you introduced yourself. I am still trying to learn who everyone is. I am still overwhelmed that Jesus has opened my eyes. It brings tears of joy that he thought of me but the fact that so many I have been raised with and by are so lost. Praying that I will be bold and compassionate toward them to share truth even though they may not hear.

I am so glad we do not remember coming into this world.. It would be unfortunate indeed  :D

That is so cool that your family has continued in home births. I think I read something you had posted about your child being born in the hospital and denied all the doctors so called "help/assistance", is this correct or did I read someone else's comment? Sorry if I have you mixed up with another person.
Still will need a midwife for our family. I am not with child but we want more if God wills.

Excited to get to know everyone more. Patiently waiting to learn more of God's Word as well.
God bless your family as well.

Jeanne.
I have told him how I think the people he hangs with are lost and he does agree. And his reoccurring sin is something i also spoke to him about and he agrees as well. But still continues. But I will keep on praying for the Holy Spirit to keep working on him. Also I will ask him why he believes the way he does on the remarriage issue. I appreciate your help. Thank you Jeanne  :)

Do you liked to be called Ellie or EMS? Just curious. My husband enjoys the teachings of CLE BUT.. The more and more I learn the more concerned I am for my husband's heart. There are things that he says and does that worries me. I am still going to do what Gods Word says for me to do. I am going to keep praying for my husband. I have noticed some of my prayers are being heard just by some things my husband brings up in conversation. I realize God may be working in him and it may be because of the prayers? Anytime he listens to the audio teachings he really is glad there is another person who teaches what he believes but some subjects are touchy for my husband. I am wondering if I should bring them up? He has the idea that nobody should be remarried unless there is a death of a spouse. He does things that are repetitive sins and it is concerning me. He hangs out with people I know in my heart are lost but claim they aren't and it's bothering me.

Jeanne
That's timely that you mentioned joining the church. I was just looking through the request to join and I want to. And I already downloaded the Skype app for it. I do have one question... I have a cell phone only and no microphone. Maybe it's built in on my phone? I am not very computer saavy .I haven't sent an email to Chris yet but I will. I am a little nervous but also excited to join. The times work for me. I have a pretty open schedule. Since I homeschool I can move class time to where ever will work. I am home most days. Also.. If you could lend me some advice on the situation I mentioned up in the note to Ellie ..that would be appreciated.

May we get deeper in His word! And that we would come humbly to him daily in repentance for our wrongs. He is so good to us

Just wanted to share some scriptures that help me.

Proverbs 27:17
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

John 1:5
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

1 John 2:15-17
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
