Bible Discussion / Re: KJV Bible for kids

Nonetheless, that is what you asked of us.

We are unable to respond to your request  effectively if you don't clearly identify what appropriate and safe standard we should be using.

BTW, asking for clarification on a matter is not debate.
It's curious that our conversation speaks to you that way.

You asked us to vet a KJV for your grandkids.
If one were to do that on your behalf what do you expect that person compare the potential online purchase against in order to verify it to be appropriate and safe for your grandkids?

I'm also curious how you determined the KJV you read isn't unsafe and inappropriate for you.

I'm simply enquiring as to what metric you suggest we use to vet a KJV we might buy online.
And, how did you come to the conclusion that your Bible hasn't been deceptively altered, there by making inappropriate and unsafe?

How do you know yours isn't deceptively altered?
Did you compare it against something?

What would you compare one to?
What did you compare yours to?

What exactly might be inappropriate or unsafe for children in the KJV?

Just do it.
They are only for people who might be saved anyway. They won't do most people much good since most people reject repentance and faith.
The main question, is the Lord pleased with what you are doing and how you are doing it?

Why am I just getting that now?
I can only speak generally on this, but, sometimes our understanding is unlocked by the Holy Ghost when we sanctify ourselves from worldly things.
The more we are sanctified the more he helps to understand his word.
I see it as a reward for doing what pleases him.

General Discussion / Re: 9/11 Conspiracy

Dan, why did you say this?

With that being said, the comments on my post are advising me to cease my discussion on 9/11, and I'll follow their advice.

No one advised you to cease your discussion on any topic.
In fact I said just the opposite:

If anyone wants to take about 9/11 that's fine.

What I also said was:

However, studying the wickedness of the world isn't glorifying to the Lord.
Most of us here prefer to discuss scripture and the doctrines of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I hope you understand.

Can you please explain what this is about?

Dan, most of us are aware, and many of us are well studied, on the conspiracies that currently plague our world.
Though it isn't wrong to discuss this stuff, after a while it becomes redundant. We could spend all our time delving into the corruption that we see around us every day.
If anyone wants to take about 9/11 that's fine. Personally, I have what I believe are some very interesting documentaries on the topic.

However, studying the wickedness of the world isn't glorifying to the Lord.
Most of us here prefer to discuss scripture and the doctrines of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I hope you understand.

BTW, we generally just refer to one another by first names around here.  It's not a big deal, but just so you know.

Thanks for the thorough post Dan.

I don't expect anyone will have any contention with anything you've said, but some may want to discuss things further for various reasons, simple fellowship not being the least of them.

With that said, would you mind telling us what state you live in?  I live in Tennessee and others live in Alabama, Missouri, California, Virginia and Indiana.

The type of faith Peter had just exhibited.

You can tell they are in pain when they simply won't move around much. A dog may sometimes get nippy when you try to handle them.

I've had it put down a couple of dog over the years. It's difficult every time.

The fact that you didn't bother to do such a ridiculously small thing only tells me the real reason America is what it is today.
There it is folks!
There reason America is what it is is because Chris didn't give this guy a one word answer.

Shame on you Chris.

Introduce Yourself / Re: Scott's Introduction

Kenneth. so after reading my introduction and my posts, do you truly think that Christopher's accusations and character assaults against me have been just and warranted?
We are still waiting for you to respond to what has already been addressed to you, and provide evidence of the accusations you've made.

However, if you aren't of a mind to have rational conversations with us we understand. Many people who've come here are like that. Perhaps you can find like-minded people elsewhere.

You are welcome to depart in peace.

if anyone else would,  please look upon my words and see what I have written.
Several of us have "looked upon" what you have written.
Frankly, at this point, you've got plenty to address already.
Until you respond to what Chris and Ellie have asked you about I find it unlikely that anyone else is going ask you for even more.

Revelation 14:9 KJV — And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

This kinda includes Neural-link in it's current inception.

Any Christian who simply understands scripture on this issue will have not problem avoiding The Mark, or even anything that even comes close.
