Do you remember the day you was saved (received repentance?)
If so, what happened that day?
Do you remember what was going through your mind?
Could you share that with us?  :)
Also.. One more question .... Im just curious why you chose the name 'Pilgrim' Mike? Is there a story behind why you chose to put Pilgrim?

This is something that I have been wondering about for some time. The question is at the end, it requires context.

Gen 9:20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
 23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
 24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
 25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
 26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
 28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.
 29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.


My question is why was Noah's grandson, Canaan, the one who was made a servant of servants when it was his father, Ham, that offended?

As I Was looking at your question I had 2 different verses come to mind that may answer your question.
Numbers 14:18
“The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.”
 

  Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Even though the curse was upon Canaan, it was still effective toward Ham. It's about the seed of Ham and if his seed is cursed so, then the father of that seed is effected. Ham is indirectly but also directly affected because his seed will be servant to his brothers and their seed. Ham obviously was wicked and because of his wickedness .. His sons may be raised wrong and may be corrupted seed because of that raising. Canaan being cursed is Ham also being cursed because His lineage is. If I am wrong or have misused scripture.. I ask that you please correct me. But this is my understanding of the question. But also don't forget that God can forgive within that lineage if they're repentant toward God of their wrong they have done.
Also when it says that Noah and his sons were blessed. This could mean that he gave them the blessing of being able to be fruitful and multiply.

I found this read to be helpful and edifying. I never had thought about why Uzzah died suddenly but this makes sense as to why and how serious God is when it comes to obedience and why we should regard what God wants us to do as oppose to what we want to do. I have many times had good intentions to do what was right but went about it "my way" and ended up causing more problems than solving. My "good intentions" mean nothing unless they first line up with God's word and bring Him Glory. A lot of heart ache could have neen avoided if David would have done a good thing the right way.

Yes I have found cross references that are not related. The blue letter bible will connect verses by just a word or phrase and they usually relate but sometimes they don't. They just share the word or phrase. Just read the verses around it and maybe even the whole chapter and sometimes the chapters before and after to really get the context of the verse you're referencing.. It can take a little bit but it's worth it because I learn something new everytime

I start wherever I am drawn and start at the beginning of whatever book I am drawn to and read each chapter and make sure I understand what is said. I find a lot of times, that one verse can keep me studying for hours because it takes me to so many other places in the Bible. Sometimes I will randomly pick a psalm or proverbs or a chapter in Ecclesiastes to read through a few chapters. I have currently been learning about Solomons home and The Lords temple that Solomon built in 1 Kings. Also have been reading in Hosea along with Ladies Group of CLE and also following along in 1 Corinthians along with the church and I have been reading CLE articles and listening to the teachings. I learn a lot this way and my study time never looks the same. It is different everyday. And I don't do study as often as I should. I desire to study more and more. I also use Blue Letter Bible strictly for finding references to certain verses but don't use the commentary or definitions in that app. And even when i use the cross reference I still try to make sure it applies to the verse I'm cross referencing to. My KJV has cross references at the bottom of the pages and I use those at times but I make sure that the references stay in context with the verses I'm researching.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:”

We hear the shepherd but they don't. These people are here for us so we know who is of God and who isn't. Our discernment gets exercised by learning who is false converts and who is born again. Those false converts stand on a works based doctrine bevause they consider repentance foolishness. They want work to get them to heaven so they don't have to humble themselves.

I just want to briefly say that Kilts are not effeminate attire. They are traditional attire of the Scottish people.
We all know an effeminate man is the obviously gay man. I also believe an effeminate man is a harmless man.
More nuance on that if you request.

What do you mean by harmless? Just want to understand what you mean by this.

After a few weeks of being a part of the church ... I started reading the article/book on this topic, I honestly knew something was wrong with people using terms/"diagnoses" of psychology and all that it entails ,that the world is ensnared by, but didn't give a lot of much needed thought to the dangers of it and when I read this, everything that I questioned or had red flags on, finally started making sense. I also now enjoy having the audio teaching on it after reading it, I haven't even finished this book yet. There is so much to read here on the website ..it's almost like I just read what I am drawn to and everytime , Something is said ,that I needed to hear. Thankful that God has drawn you to put all this time and hardwork into these teachings, they have helped me in so many ways. And thankful for God's word and that we are not left defenseless.  :)

That's how I see it as well and if you read down a few verses it confirms it.
Verse 11 especially shows the "mystery of iniquity" by stating that God sends them strong delusion. That's my understanding but I have been wrong before.
2 Thessalonians 2: 10-12
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Your family member resembles verse 12 as does most of the world. They glory in their shame.
   Philippians 3:19
“Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)” 

It all comes down to Pride.

This verse may be the answer to the true biblical definition of "effeminate"

Deuteronomy 22:5
“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”


If you read Chapter 5 and 6 of 1 Corinthians, you can see the context surrounding the word you are confused about. You don't need to look at the Greek Word of it, if that's what you was trying to do. You don't even need a dictionary. Paul is speaking to the Church of Corinth. The people were not using righteous judgement in matters of the church. They was going to unbelievers to judge between the brethren and Paul was saying They should be able to judge these small matters. Paul also is trying to get the brethren to see that those who are living in unrighteousness (sin) and calling themselves brethren is a big problem and they need to removed and not to eat with them. Effeminate are those who are those who are acting soft and feminine because it's the heart of the man desiring to be like a woman through how he carries himself and dresses.
 The born again believers should be able to judge these matters of who is being effeminate because the discernment of the Holy Spirit. I know when I see a man acting feminine and dressing feminine and talking like a woman that he most likely is displaying what's in his heart and that's to be like a woman. Visa versa with women acting like men. God created man and woman to be man and woman, not man be woman or woman be man. I understand that there are ppl who have certain attributes that may cause us to question whether they are effeminate or not but their actions will give themselves away by the words and actions they choose. And if they call themselves brethren and walk around all fruity acting then they need to be corrected of their error. The man needs to be a leader and lead in righteousness. If they struggle with the past of who they used to be then there needs to be prayer for self control to not do that which is wrong. If a man used to be effeminate before he was saved then the Lord opens his eyes to the wickedness of being effeminate (dressing like a woman and acting like a woman) and this man repent of this wickedness then the born again believers should be able to see and judge right that the "used to be" effeminate is now humbled and trying to do what pleases God and not themselves then there should be patience and prayer for this man.
The conclusion is... The born again believers should be able to know who is effeminate and who isn't.

That is encouraging. The places here where I live, the signs say you need a mask but the employees don't care if you have one or not. They may push in the future but as of right now... Its very lax

So thankful for the discernment of the Holy Spirit to know that these men are not of Christ.  8)
But sad that they are stealing money for greedy gain but it truly isn't too much of a surprise. All will come out in the end.
