Actors are even coming out an admitting now that you can't even get on television if you're not part of some satanic cult. While that may not always have been the case, it certainly is now. In order to get anywhere in the 'entertainment' industry, people literally have to make pacts with Satan. That alone should tell you what kind of garbage you're being peddled.

Thanks Chris for another well written article. That face caught my attention since I grew up on westerns.

Jeanne I agree with you completely. There's been a few people come on the forum and ask
what kinds of tv would be "good" to watch. But I'll have to say I'm one who believes that the
best thing is to just steer clear of all of it. I have no desire to watch anything that is produced
these days or for my children to watch. I'm not saying I'm perfect in that area and that we
haven't watched things. I do have a weakness for westerns lol. But I would never put my stamp
of approval on a show, so to speak, as being a basis on how to live.
But your right there's a big difference in shows from the 60's or before and those today, yet when
you search a little on the actors (which has gotten to be a habit with me instead of watching the
show) you wonder if there's much difference in the lifestyles of those of today and those of old.
We made the decision on disconnecting are dish several years ago just on the wicked commercials

Though we grew up watching Bonanza some, my dad couldn't stand Little House on the prairie and
especially Highway to Heaven. Friends and family couldn't understand why. Things like this I think
are just another indication of who is studying their Bible and who's not. The sad part is like Chris
points out in the article is that these shows like so many others are so deceptive because they're
labeled "Christian". And if you're not studying the Bible but watching these shows and going to
church listening to preachers who are watching these shows more than their studying the scripture.
Sounds simple to understand but....
There's so many dangers in allowing children to grow up idolizing these wicked actors who are portraying
a so called hero. I'll have to say, a lot of the study Chris has done on various topics (Catholics for instance)
has made me a even more cautious parent. Even with the old shows where the good guy actually stood
for right, you can't ever get enough warnings.
Well, it really gets back to whether or not we believe the King James Bible is God's preserved Word.
First believing that God has provided us with His preserved word and then studying it, I think are
important steps to fighting the confusion that so many people get trapped in.

Good read!
I was almost afraid to read the whole thing(because it was so long, yet i took breaks in between) but it's still surprises me too because I grew up with "LHOTP" and "HTH"
...but it was bland to me and bored me as a child. I just thought is was cutesy shows for christians with moral messages- but this guy really went off the deep end :(
